Janika Mägi  specialises in haute couture embroidery and jewelry.  Designing and making pieces that are unique, timeless and elegant.

Our exquisite pieces are hand made using historical techniques like goldwork, tambour beading (Luneville technique), silkwork, silkshading and appliqueing. Each piece is created with special care and meticulous attention to detail with fifteen years of experience in fashion and embroidery.

Janika Mägi has been trained in London at Hand & Lock, Great Britain`s oldest high end embroidery house established in 1767. During the years working there as the head emboiderer, she has been training and guiding the team of the best british artisans through the production process and making haute couture embroidery and monograms that are seen in the couture embroidery gallery.

Throughout these years she has made bespoke monograms for high end taylors/brands such as Ralph Lauren, Turnbull & Asser, Brooks Brothers, Thomas Pink, Gio Genco, Gieves & Hawkes, Tom Ford, John Lobb, Brioni, Hermes, Fendi, Dior and others.

Haute couture embroidery has been made for Mary Katrantzou, Burberry, Nicholas Oakwell Couture, Samantha Roddick, Rolls Royce, Pringle of Scotland, Stevenson Brothers, Givenchy, Brioni and Louis Vuitton. And also to performers like Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw, Michael Flatley for Lord of the Dance show, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini for the X-Factor finals and to Madonna for the Rebel Heart tour.

Janika Mägi creates hand embroidered occasion wear- belts, capes and jewelry and  teaches embroidery courses in London, Tallinn, Williamsburg (Virginia), Chicago, New York, San Francisco and Sydney. To pass on the knowledge and keep the traditions and historical techniques alive.
